These surface mount LED lighting fixtures are complete luminaires, designed from the ground up to optimize the properties of light emitting diodes as a light source. The fixtures are designed to replace conventional fluorescent surface mounted lamps, such as 2D or Double D units and T8 fixtures.

The LED arrays contained within the fixtures are constructed from high quality lighting class SMD chips, guaranteed to give good quality light, high CRI and long life. Fluorescent lamps do not work well with the frequent switching cycles that are characteristic of PIR systems. These switching cycles reduce the lamp life. However, LEDs are not damaged by frequent switching, so these units are ideal replacements for frequently switched fluorescent fixtures.
